Piggy Bank Pottery

These are some of my most popular pottery pieces. Each item is one of a kind - hand built or wheel thrown, textured, altered, glazed and fired.   All tableware is made with oven safe clay and and food safe glazes.

I continue to make pieces similar to these shown and am always trying something new.

Clayworks Studio and Gallery in Charlotte, North Carolina is my pottery home. It is there that I first learned to center clay on my potter's wheel, there that I found my supportive and stimulating community of potters.  Through the years I have also been  inspired and instructed by workshops with Ben Owen III, Gay Smith, Suze Lindsay, Kent McLaughlin, Liz Zlot Summerfield and others.

You may see some of my pottery at the pottery exhibit on Concourse A of the Charlotte Douglas Airport.  

My pottery is for sale at the Carolina ClayMatters sales -- always the second Saturday of May and the second Saturday of October.  Visit www.carolinaclaymatters.org for specifics about these events.   Come see my pottery on May 14th !
